Personal Correspondent: Bangladesh Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan has returned home after visiting Japan.
This information was informed in a press release of the Directorate of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday (October 19).
According to ISPR, Bangladesh Air Force Chief visited Japan on October 14-18 at the invitation of Chief of Staff of Japan Self Defense Force, General Uchikura Hiroyaki. During the visit, the Air Force Chief participated in various programs including the 'Indo-Pacific Air Chiefs Conference in Tokyo (InPACT)' on the occasion of 'Air Force Forum in Japan (AFFJ)' held in Japan.
Air force chiefs, senior military and civil officers of various countries attended these events. Apart from this, the Chief of the Air Force held a courtesy meeting with the Air Force Chiefs of the participating countries and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
The visit of the Air Force Chief will strengthen the existing cordial relations between Bangladesh and Japan which will expand the scope of mutual cooperation in the professional sector.
Incidentally, Chief of the Air Force Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan left Dhaka on Monday (October 14) for Japan on an official visit with his wife and two companions.
