Sinwar died due to bullet injury on head

Some videos have surfaced of Israeli soldiers searching the hideout of Yahya Sinwar. In a similar video, two Israeli soldiers are seen standing near a dead body and it is being claimed that it is Sinwar's deadbody. In this, the index finger of the Hamas Chief's left hand has been cut off. However, CNN reported that an analysis of the video showed all five fingers on his left hand. It is possible that a finger may have been amputated later. The doctor who conducted the post-mortem of Yahya Sinwar's body said that Sinwar died due to a bullet injury to the head.

Injuries are visible on Yahya Sinwar's face in the video viral on social media. A part of his skull has been blown off due to the bullet. Hamas has also confirmed that its leader Yahya Sinwar was killed in an attack by Israeli forces in Gaza. The extremist organization reiterated its stance that the people taken hostage by Israel a year ago will not be released until there is a ceasefire in Gaza and the withdrawal of Israeli troops. A day before this, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that until the hostages are released, the country's army will continue fighting and will be deployed in Gaza to weaken Hamas.
