Leaders and activists of Tungipara Awami League paid tribute at the tomb of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Grenade Attack Day was celebrated on August 21 in Gopalganj with various programs including tributes at the tomb of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. On Wednesday (August 21) at 11 am, Tungipara Upazila Awami League and Chhatra League offered flowers at the memorial altar of Bangabandhu. Meanwhile, they recited Fateha and prayed for the souls of those killed in the grenade attack.

Tungipara Upazila Awami League President Abul Bashar Khair and General Secretary Md. were present during the tribute. Awami League leaders and activists at various levels including Babul Sheikh.

Meanwhile, a discussion meeting was held on the occasion of the day at Muksudpur Upazila Awami League office. General Secretary Shahidur Rahman Tutul, Vice President Shyamal Kanti Bose, Sirajul Islam, Mohiuddin Ahmed Mukt, Organizing Secretary Aminur Rahman, Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Haider Hossain, Labor Affairs Secretary Mizanur Rahman Montu Mridha spoke there under the direction of Upazila Awami League President Rabiul Alam Sikder. And leaders of Jubo League, Krishak League, Volunteer League, Mahila League and Chhatra League.

Discussion meeting was held at Kotalipara Upazila Awami League office. General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Aynal Hossain Sheikh and others spoke there under the chairmanship of Upazila Awami League President Bhabendranath Biswas.
