Jagannath University (JUB) is holding Sirat conference for the first time on October 24. Chairman of As Sunnah Foundation and popular Islamic speaker Sheikh Ahmadullah will be the chief guest.
The organizing students said that for the first time Sirat conference is going to be held in Jagannath University. There is a separate seating area for women. Sirat conference will start from 3:30 pm on Thursday.
It is known that Sheikh Professor Mokhtar Ahmad and Sheikh Abdul Hai Muhammad Saifullah will also be present at the Sirat conference.
In addition, job vice-chancellor professor Dr. Md. Imam Hafez Maulana of Jagannath University Central Mosque will be present under the chairmanship of Rezaul Karim. Khatib Hafez Maulana Mufti of Salah Uddin and Bahadur Shah Park Jame Masjid. Amanul Haque
Ahmed Omar, a student of Islamic History and Culture Department who is among the organizers, said that due to the anti-Islamic attitude of the previous government, no Islamic program including Sirat Mahfil was organized in the campus for the last 17 years. However, with the help of the current university administration, it is possible to organize the Sirat conference for the first time.
