Pakistan created history after 6 consecutive defeats, a special moment came after 1348 days, the captain said – it should be like this…

New Delhi. The sword was hanging on the captaincy of Pakistan captain Shan Masood. After losing the first Test of the series against England, he was expected to be dismissed from the captaincy. After losing 6 consecutive tests under his captaincy, Masood spread happiness on the faces of his fans on Friday. Pakistan defeated England in the second test match played in Multan and leveled the 3-match series 1-1. Pakistan has got victory in Test at home after 1348 days. That means it took four years for Pakistan to win the Test at home. The captain's face also lit up with this victory. Shan Masood says that this victory will act as a tonic for Pakistan cricket. He called it an important victory. Now Masood has also demanded a spinner-friendly pitch for the third and final test.

Shan Masood is hopeful that after defeating England by 152 runs in the second Test, his team will get a spin-friendly pitch for the third and final Test in Rawalpindi next week. Noman Ali and Sajid Khan took all 20 wickets on a spin-friendly pitch as Pakistan defeated England by 152 runs in the second Test cricket match in Multan on Friday, registering its first win on home soil since 2021.

Pakistani selector's reaction after meeting with Gautam Gambhir – 'The people sitting in ICC will tell us…'

Third and decisive test will be played in Rawalpindi
Shan Masood said after the match, 'I don't think the winter season has started yet in Pakistan. In such a situation, we hope that due to the heat of the sun, the moisture in the wicket (pitch) will be very less. The third and deciding match of the series will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Last month, Bangladesh had registered a historic 2-0 victory over Pakistan on the same ground. Masood said, 'I don't know that I have seen the ball taking so much turn in Rawalpindi. This is a different matter. The groundsman is already there. They are preparing the pitch for the test match. We would like to prepare such a pitch where both the teams have a chance to take 20 wickets.

First victory under the captaincy of Masood
This is Masood's first win as captain. After becoming the captain of the Test team last year, he had to face defeat in six consecutive matches. The Pakistan team had not won any home test match since March 2022. During this period, Pakistan played 11 matches, in which it did not win any of them. Shan Masood had lost 3 matches against Australia on his very first tour as captain. England had defeated Pakistan by an innings margin in the first test. This was the first time in 147 years of Test history that a team lost by an innings despite touching the 500 mark in the first innings.
