Infosys Share Price; Q2 Results 2024 Impact | Net Profit Dividend | Infosys shares fell 4% after the results: Trading at Rs 1880, profit of Rs 6,506 crore in the second quarter.

After the July-September quarter results, shares of IT company Infosys are trading at Rs 1,880, falling 4% today i.e. on Friday, October 18. The IT company's results were weaker than analysts' estimates.

Infosys has made a profit of Rs 6,506 crore in the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25. There has been an increase of 4.7% on annual basis. The company had made a consolidated net profit of Rs 6,212 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

The company generated revenue of Rs 40,986 crore in this quarter. There has been an increase of 5.1% on annual basis. A year ago the company's revenue was Rs 38,994 crore. The money received from selling goods and services is revenue.

Infosys will give dividend of Rs 21 per share Infosys has also approved an interim dividend of Rs 21 per share to shareholders. Companies give some part of the profits to their shareholders, it is called dividend.

Infosys shares rose 32% in 6 months Infosys shares have remained flat in the last one month. The stock has risen 32% in 6 months and 30% in a year. At the same time, this year i.e. from January 1 till now, the stock has gained 21%. The market cap of the company is Rs 7.79 lakh crore.
