Canada is becoming the center of Khalistani activities against India. But Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau keeps asking for evidence from India instead of taking action against Khalistani separatists. However, it is not just a matter of action against Khalistanis. Canada has a long history of giving shelter to Indian criminals and then not taking action against them. Many accused of drug dealing, domestic violence and rape in India have taken refuge in Canada. India has repeatedly asked the Canadian government to take action against them. But the result has always been a sham. In this way Canada is becoming a heaven for the criminals of India.

Gurcharan Singh was an accused in a cheating case in India. In 2003, India had asked the Canadian government to take action against it. but nothing happened. Same thing happened in the case of Omkar Mal Aggarwal and Jaswinder Pal Singh Walia. Omkar Mal is wanted since 2016 in the criminal conspiracy and property cheating case. Whereas Jaswinder is accused of gangrape and blackmail in 2022. He did all this with the female employees of his spa in the year 2014-15. Canada did not take any action against them at India's request. Similarly, last year Ravinder Singh also fled to Canada after cruelty against his wife.

Many Indians are living illegally in Canada after committing crimes here. India has also suggested Canada to prepare its check list. But these suggestions are rejected. According to the Times of India, the Canadian government was told several times that the 'open door' policy was benefiting criminals. But there was no hearing on this either.

Not only this, in the case of terrorists and criminals, Indian officers have also shared the call details and location of the suspects. The Canadian government was told that action should be taken as per the law there, but nothing happened. India has also submitted dossiers on several other matters to the Canadian government. But Canada always rejected them saying that they were not in accordance with its legal requirements. After this, formalities were tried between NIA and RCMP. Despite this nothing was done.

Even in 1980, when terrorism was at its peak in Punjab, Justin Trudeau continued to maintain a soft attitude towards terrorists. He did not hand over Khalistani terrorist Talwinder Parmar, who was involved in murders and bombings in Punjab, to India. Later, this same Talwinder Kanishk became the mastermind of the plane bomb blast, in which more than 300 people were killed. This trend is still going on when Sikh separatists have made Canada their base for anti-India activities. The Indian government has been continuously expressing its concerns regarding this. But the Canadian government is not paying any attention.
