Personal Correspondent: The Department of Meteorology has given glimpses of thunderstorms with gusty winds in 6 regions of the country. The agency has asked the river ports of these regions to show the number one warning signal.
This information is known from the forecast of inland river ports of the country till 1 pm given by meteorologist A K M Nazmul Haque of Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday (October 17).
The Meteorological Office said that gusty winds with rain/thundershowers at a speed of 45-60 kmph from south/south-west direction may occur over Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Jessore and Khulna regions by 1 pm. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
