Arab Finance: Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, said: Non-petroleum manufacturing sector It decreased by about 5.4% during the fiscal year 2023/2024, affected by macroeconomic conditions.
She also explained during the Prime Minister’s weekly press conference held at the government headquarters in the Administrative Capital that the sector recorded a positive growth of 4.7% during the last quarter of the last fiscal year, as a result of economic reforms and the availability of foreign exchange.
The Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation pointed out that the manufacturing sector contributes about 15% to the country’s gross domestic product.
