NDA Chief Ministers Meeting in Chandigarh Focus on Constitution Amrit Mahotsav and 50 Years of Emergency ANN


NDA Chief Ministers Meeting : An important meeting of NDA Chief Ministers is going to be held in Chandigarh on Thursday, October 17, in which the Prime Minister Narendra Modi About 20 Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of NDA will be included under the chairmanship of NDA. This half-day conference is the first major event of its kind after many years, in which along with national development, important issues like Amrit Mahotsav of the Constitution and the 50th anniversary of the assassination of the Republic will be discussed.

In this meeting, not only 13 Chief Ministers and 16 Deputy Chief Ministers of BJP will be present, along with the Chief Ministers of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, Nagaland and Meghalaya, ruled by NDA's allies, will also attend. Prime Minister Modi with BJP President JP Nadda, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit ShahAndhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will also participate in this discussion.

Discussion will be held after the swearing in ceremony of Naib Singh Saini

The proceedings of this conference will start immediately after the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini. During the meeting, issues of national development along with celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of the Constitution and the 50th anniversary of the 'attack on democracy' will also be specifically discussed. BJP views the Emergency imposed in 1975 as an 'attack on democracy' and celebrates its anniversary every year.

What is the political meaning of the meeting?

Referring to the real meaning of calling this meeting by BJP, a BJP leader told Hindustan Times that this meeting should be seen as a moment of celebration and a show of strength for the ruling government after the unexpectedly good election results in Haryana.
