Many senior leaders arrived to attend the swearing in ceremony

LG had invited to take oath
NC divisional president Kashmir Nasir Aslam Wani said the LG had on Monday invited the National Conference vice-president to take oath as the first chief minister of the union territory. The invite was sent a day after the Center lifted President's rule in Jammu and Kashmir. Principal Secretary to LG handed over the letter to Abdullah informing him about the date and time of the swearing-in ceremony.

CM Omar Abdullah Oath Live: Omar Abdullah will become the new Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, swearing-in ceremony today
Preparations for the swearing-in ceremony of Omar Abdullah have been completed at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Center (SKICC) located on the banks of Dal Lake. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the Chief Minister and his ministers at 11:30 am.
