New Delhi. A post by Indian cricket team's star wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant created an uproar among the fans. This stalwart, who captained Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League, has talked about entering the auction. By writing about giving his name in the IPL auction to be held in the year 2025, this player started a debate which no one was thinking about.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the rules related to the IPL auction a few days ago. Franchise teams will be allowed to retain a maximum of six players. A Right to Match (RTM) card will also be included in the auction. Earlier in the year 2022, a team could retain only a maximum of 4 players in the mega auction. Whose number has now been increased to 6.
