Maharashtra Jharkhand Election: The Election Commission has announced the dates of Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections. Voting in Maharashtra is on 20th November, while in Jharkhand, voting will be on 13th November and 20th November. Counting will take place in both the states on November 23. Along with this, the dates of assembly by-elections to be held in many other states have also been announced.
It was told in the press conference of the Election Commission that voting for by-elections for 47 assembly seats and Wayanad Lok Sabha seat of Kerala will be held on November 13. Apart from this, by-elections for Kedarnath Assembly seat in Uttarakhand and one Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra will be held on November 20.

Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said, “The total number of voters in Jharkhand is 2.6 crore, out of which 1.29 crore are female and 1.31 crore are male voters. The number of first-time voters is 11.84 lakh. There will be 29,562 polling stations in Jharkhand. “
Rajeev Kumar said, “The total number of voters in Maharashtra is 9.63 crore, out of which 4.97 crore are male and 4.66 crore female voters. The number of first-time voters is 20.93 lakh. There are 1,00,186 polling stations in Maharashtra, this This time too we will set up booths run by PWD and women.”
