Khalistanis' morale increased due to Canada's actions, Pannu spewed venom against Indians

After increasing tension between India and Canada, the courage of Khalistani leaders in Canada also seems to be increasing. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has created a big controversy by raising questions on Indian officials in the conspiracy to murder Hardeep Singh Nijjar. India has vehemently denied these allegations and called them absurd. Relations between India and Canada have reached an all-time low and both countries have expelled each other's diplomats and instructed them to leave the country. Now terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, the leader of Khalistani activities in Canada and running the banned Sikh for Justice, has issued a public threat against Canadian MP Chandra Arya.

Terrorist Pannu has said that Chandra Arya has continuously condemned the growing Khalistani extremism in Canada. Pannu issued an audio message accusing Chandra Arya of being in collusion with the Indian government and demanded treason charges against him. Pannu warned, “Keep watching the final outcome of MP Arya.” This threat of Pannu has come at a time when incidents related to Khalistani extremists are increasing in Canada. On Monday, another video showed Indian High Commissioner to Canada Sanjay Verma being targeted and his effigy being burnt. Khalistanis have accused him of conspiring to murder Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

According to Times of India, former High Commissioner of India to Canada, Ajay Bisaria, has expressed disappointment over the developments and said that the attitude of the Canadian government is affecting the relationship between India and Canada. He has also criticized the Canadian government for damaging bilateral relations for political gain.

Earlier, MP Chandra Arya has publicly criticized Khalistani activities. Chandra Arya has called for legal action to deal with the rising violence before it is too late. In response to Arya's statements, Pannu threatened the MP and his Hindu-Canadian supporters to 'return Modi to India'. Arya, reacting to Pannu's threats on social media, said Khalistani extremists are corrupting Canada and abusing the freedoms granted by the Canadian Charter of Rights.
