Kamran equaled Yashasvi Jaiswal, the batsman playing in place of Babar made a splash in the very first test.

New Delhi. Kamran Ghulam, who replaced Babar Azam in the Pakistan cricket team, has made a explosive debut in Test cricket. This Pakistani batsman has scored a century in his very first test. Kamran Ghulam did this feat in the second test match against England. With this, Kamran Ghulam has written his name in the list of players who have scored a century in the debut test.

The second test match is being played between Pakistan and England in Multan. Host Pakistan had to face a bad defeat in the first Test match played on this ground. After this, Pakistan Cricket Board made many historic changes in its team, in which Babar Azam was dropped from the team. However, the board tried to lighten the matter by calling it a break.

Babar Azam came into limelight even after not playing in the second test match, when Kamran Ghulam, playing in his place, scored a century. With this, Kamran Ghulam became one of those batsmen in the world who have scored a century in his debut test. Before Kamran Ghulam, this feat was done by India's Yashasvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal played an unmatched inning of 171 runs against West Indies in his debut Test match last year.

The first Indian batsman to score a century in the debut test was Lala Amarnath. He did this feat in the Mumbai Test against England in 1933. Lala Amarnath played an innings of 118 runs in his debut test match.

Talking about the overall record, Kamran Ghulam is the 116th batsman in the world to score a century in the debut test. Charles Bannerman of England made this record for the first time in 1877. Talking about Pakistani record, the achievement is in the name of Khalid Ibadullah. He played an innings of 166 runs in his debut test match against Australia in 1964.
