Jammu Kashmir CM Swearing Ceremony: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the Chief Minister and his ministers at 11:30 am. Security has been tightened around the venue.

The stage is set for Omar Abdullah to take oath as the first Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir following the National Conference's victory in the assembly elections for the first time after the abrogation of Article 370. Officials said that preparations for the swearing-in ceremony have been completed at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Center (SKICC) located on the banks of Dal Lake on Wednesday.
