Anisul Haque remanded again Amar Bangla BANGLADESH


Personal Correspondent: The court granted 2-day remand to former law minister Anisul Haque in the case of murder of volunteer party leader Alamin in the capital's Badda during the anti-discrimination movement.


Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Nurul Huda Chowdhury gave this order after the court hearing on Monday (October 14) morning.


On this day he was produced in the court and the police applied for 7 days remand along with the arrest in this case. First, the court granted the application to arrest him in this case. A remand hearing was held later. The lawyer of the accused filed a bail application seeking cancellation of the remand. The state opposed it. After hearing both sides, the court ordered his remand for 2 days.


According to the sources of the case, on August 5, the police opened fire on a procession of students in Badda police station area of ​​the capital. At that time, Alamin, the leader of the volunteer group, was seriously injured and died under treatment. In this incident, a murder case was registered at Badda police station in the capital.
