Sharjah. The Indian team had to face defeat against Australia in a thrilling match in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup. After this defeat, head coach Amol Majumdar is saddened by the blow to India's hopes of reaching the semi-finals. He said that if the team had been able to capitalize on the few opportunities that came its way, the result would have been different. Speaking to the media after the match, Majumdar said, “We were in the match till the last over. Australia won on the basis of its experience. I am saddened by this defeat. Maybe 10-15 runs would have been less but I would just say that we tried our best.
