Personal Correspondent: On the occasion of Durga Puja, all offices-courts, banks, insurance, financial institutions and stock markets have opened today on Monday after a 4-day holiday. From this day all the activities will run on time.
According to the official holiday calendar, Sunday (October 13) is a public holiday. And October 11 and 12 Friday and Saturday are weekends. The government announced a holiday in this list on Thursday (October 10) by executive order. Due to the extension of Durga Puja holiday by one day and 2 days of weekly holiday, this holiday is created for 4 days in a row.
After four consecutive days of Puja vacation, workers are joining the office today.
Meanwhile, schools and colleges will be closed for 9 days on the occasion of Durga Puja, Fateha-e-Yazdaham, Lakshmi Puja and Prabarana Purnima. However, the holiday will be extended to 11 days including the weekend.
