Arab Finance: He received Walid Jamal Al-Din, Chairman of the General Authority For the Suez Canal Economic ZoneAt the Authority’s headquarters in the Administrative Capital, a delegation from the Federation of Industry and Commerce in Jiangsu Province, China, headed by Liu Jun, Vice President of the Federation, and in the presence of some of the Federation’s executive leadership, along with representatives of major companies operating in the sectors of energy, building and construction, and engineering industries, are members of the Federation.

During his meeting with the delegation, Walid Gamal El-Din reviewed the success stories achieved by the Suez Canal Economic Zone with its success partners of Chinese companies, which currently number more than 200 companies in various sectors, including companies that the Authority recently succeeded in attracting with investments exceeding 1,067 billion dollars during a promotional tour to China. The head of the Suez Canal Economy also presented the investment opportunities available at the authority in the 21 diverse sectors, ranging from industrial to logistical, pointing to the competitive advantages offered by the authority to support the localization of these sectors, which are represented by the unique strategic location that allows access to global markets, especially in light of trade agreements. The freedom and internationalism enjoyed by the Egyptian state, as well as the availability of trained workers and various energy sources at competitive prices, pointing out the possibility of building on the previous successes of Chinese investments in the economic zone, especially in light of the strategic partnership between Egypt and China, which was strengthened by Egypt’s accession to the BRICS group.
