UP by-election: BJP is going to field its candidates on nine seats in the by-elections to be held on ten seats in UP. The only seat it will leave for one of its allies.

For the by-elections to be held on 10 assembly seats of UP, the central leadership of BJP has decided to contest elections on 9 seats itself. Besides, the names of nine candidates have also been finalized for these seats. It has also been decided that only new faces will be given more chances in the by-elections. However, the names of these candidates will be announced after the by-election notification is issued. A meeting was held in Delhi on Sunday, in which it was agreed to give Meerapur seat to RLD. RLD had won from here in 2022 also. Whereas on nine seats BJP will contest elections on its symbol.
