The message given by the central co-coordinator Faisal Hossain to that group said, 'The coordination teams which have been created locally for the sake of organizing the movement at the district and college level to accelerate the quota reform and anti-fascist movement, have been suspended centrally. Initiatives have been taken to organize the agitating students of various colleges, private universities and medical colleges of Sylhet district to uphold the spirit of July mass uprising. Meanwhile, departmental representatives have held an exchange in the district.'
When asked, the central coordinator Asadullah Al Ghalib told Prothom Alo that during the movement, a local committee was announced with some funds for the purpose of conducting the movement in Sylhet district along with various institutions of Sylhet. It was done at the time for the sake of communication. There was no chance of approval from the Centre. Later, Center coordinator Hasnat Abdullah clarified that the parties which were formed in different places have been 'dissolved'. A new party will be formed with those who played an active role in the movement.
