Israel continues to attack the terrorist group Hezbollah in Lebanon. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said it killed 50 Hezbollah militants in hand-to-hand combat in southern Lebanon in the past 24 hours and directed air strikes. The IDF said it hit more than 200 Hezbollah targets, including underground tunnel shafts, numerous weapons storage infrastructure, rocket launchers, mortar bombs and anti-tank missiles targeting areas and army forces in northern Israel. The Israeli Air Force also conducted operations targeting underground facilities along the Syria-Lebanon border where Hezbollah weapons were stored, the statement said.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued their operations in the Gaza Strip and destroyed military infrastructure. Also, many terrorists were killed through tank fire, short-range fire and air force strikes. On the other hand, Hezbollah announced that it would target residential buildings and bases in northern Israel that are used by the Israeli military and warned civilians to stay away from these buildings until further notice. “Israeli enemy forces are using the homes of settlers in some settlements in northern occupied Palestine to house their officers and soldiers,” the Islamic Resistance, the movement's military wing, said on Telegram. Its military bases managing the aggression against Lebanon are located in the neighborhoods of settlements in major occupied cities such as Haifa, Tabaraya (Tiberias) and Acre (Akka). These homes and military bases are targets for the Islamic resistance's rockets and air forces. We warn the settlers not to go near these military sites for their safety until further notice.'
Hezbollah also warned the Israeli army
Hezbollah said settlements in northern Israel would remain occupied until Israeli forces stop fighting against the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. It is noteworthy that Israel has been carrying out ground operations against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon since October 1. Besides, it is also carrying out air strikes. The death toll from Israeli attacks has exceeded 2,000. Despite the losses, Hezbollah is fighting Israeli troops on the ground and firing rockets from across the border. Israel says its main objective is to create conditions for the return of 60,000 residents who have fled because of shelling in Israel's north.
