Bangladesh and the United States have discussed strengthening cooperation to combat corruption and bring back money that has been smuggled.
According to a message on Sunday (October 13), the discussion took place in a meeting between Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Jasim Uddin and US Global Coordinator for Anti-Corruption Shelby Smith-Wilson in Washington.
Discussions also raised the issue of technical and mutual legal assistance (MLA) agreements for reforms and enhancing exchange of experience and expertise in key areas.
The discussions focused on the involvement of the procurement system, law enforcement agencies, judiciary and media as a reflection of the collective commitment to transparency and good governance. News: Bass
