Baba Siddique Shot Dead: Former Jharkhand MP and Congress leader Dr. Ajay Kumar has expressed grief over the death of NCP leader and former Minister of State in Maharashtra Baba Siddiqui. Also, he has fiercely attacked BJP over the murder of NCP leader. He said, leave alone the common man, even former ministers are not safe in BJP ruled states. It is easy to talk big, but providing security to people is a very difficult task.
Ajay Kumar said on Sunday, “There should be a high-level investigation into the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui. It is important to reveal who is behind his murder. The murder of Baba Siddiqui, a warm-hearted and popular leader who was always among the people.” There is a big question on the law and order situation in the BJP ruled state of Maharashtra.”

He said, “Recently, I had met Baba Siddiqui at a program in Mangalore, but during the conversation, Baba did not mention anything that would suggest that he might be murdered. Assembly elections are yet to be held in Maharashtra. In such a situation, there is an atmosphere of terror and fear in the state due to the murder of Baba Siddiqui.”
He said, “BJP wants to create an atmosphere of fear in the state, so that other people get scared and stay away from the assembly elections. This could also be a well-planned conspiracy. BJP can do anything for power.”
Let us tell you that senior leader of NCP Ajit Pawar faction Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in Mumbai on Saturday night. Baba Siddiqui was shot three times, after which he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, where he died. Siddiqui's son Zeeshan Siddiqui was fired upon near his office at Bandra Kherwadi Signal.
