Arab Finance: Egypt outperformed other African countries in terms of startup funding and rounds completed during the first nine months of 2024, according to To report Issued by Magnet on venture investing.
Egyptian startups raised $304 million between January and September – MNT-Halan closed the largest funding round in Egypt, Africa, and the MENA region during the period, worth $157.5 million, in July.
Local startups closed 56 funding rounds during the first nine months of the year, the most funding rounds completed by a startup in any African country, accounting for 28% of the total number of deals in the region.
