Raju Kage Attacks Karnataka Gov: Congress Party MLA Bharamgowda Kage alias Raju Kage on Friday (October 11) accused his own party's government ruling the state of doing nothing for the farmers. He says that he has been raising his voice for the farmers for the last one year. He said that the government should help in saving the existence of farmers. Not only this, MLA Bharamgowda Kage even talked about resigning from his post.
MLA Bharamgowda Kage said that he has been highlighting this for the last one year. Alleging that no scheme has been launched to save the existence of farmers in the state, he threatened to commit his life at the 'Vidhan Soudha' (State Legislature and Secretariat) in Bengaluru over agriculture related issues.
'Government should help farmers save their existence'
“No scheme is being brought for farmers,” Kage said at a program in Tavashi village of his Kagwad constituency in Belagavi district on Thursday (October 10). You must understand this. Should I lie to you and pretend? What will the country eat if rice and other crops are not grown? Should we eat currency notes? First help the farmers to survive.
Kaage even talked about resigning
Kage said that he is not sitting idle, he has been raising people's issues at the government level but the administration is not giving any response. He appealed to the journalists present to expose this. He said, “Should I resign? Why is the government not able to do anything? Why should we be in power? Being an MLA of the ruling party, if I am expressing my inability then you can imagine how we are living in this system.
