Throwing petrol bomb-like object at Tantibazar pujamandap, 3 arrested

A robbery has taken place at Tantibazar Pujamandap in the capital. The robbers threw a bottle similar to a petrol bomb. But it did not explode.

Police arrested three robbers in this incident. They are – Akash (23), Md. Hriday (23) and Md. Life (19).

It is reported that three robbers stabbed four people while trying to grab a woman's gold chain behind the Tantibazar Pujamandap.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of DMP's Kotyali Police Station told Jago News that the incident took place at Tantibazar Pujamandape on Friday (October 11) evening. Enamul Hasan.

He said that there was an incident of robbery at Tantibazar Puja Mandap. During the robbery, the robbers threw a petrol-like bottle. But it did not explode. Three robbers have been arrested in this incident. They were brought to the police station.

When asked, Lalbagh Division Deputy Police Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Jasim Uddin told Jago News that three people have been brought to the police station. Footage from around the scene is being reviewed to determine what actually happened. But we still don't spot if it's hijacking or some other incident.

Stating that there was no incident of explosion, he said that scissors and knives were found in the hands of the three arrested robbers. They are being interrogated.
