The strain in relations between India and Canada continues. Only formal talks took place between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the sidelines of the ASEAN Summit. Canada termed this meeting as concrete, which India has completely rejected. Government sources clarified that there was only a formal greeting between PM Modi and Justin Trudeau and no concrete talks took place.
