New Delhi. Team India's fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has now become DSP. Telangana government has given this big gift to Siraj before the India vs New Zealand series. Siraj officially took over as Deputy Superintendent of Police on Friday after reporting to the Telangana Director General of Police. Appreciating his excellent performance, in July this year, the Telangana government had announced to give Group-1 job to Siraj. Telangana Chief Minister A. Pacer Siraj was recently seen playing in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. He took four wickets in two matches. India had defeated Bangladesh 2-0 in the 2-match series. The Indian team is currently playing a 3-match T20 series against Bangladesh in which they have been given rest. Young fast bowlers like Arshdeep Singh and Mayank Yadav have got a chance in place of Siraj in the T20 series.

Mohammad Siraj has taken 78 wickets in 29 test matches. He has taken 71 wickets in 44 ODI International matches while he has 14 wickets in 16 T20 International matches. Siraj made his Test debut in the year 2020 while he entered ODI in 2019. In 2017, he made his debut in T20 International cricket. Siraj is currently one of the most important bowlers of India in all three formats.
