Israel carried out its biggest ever airstrike in central Beirut on Thursday.
Israel carried out airstrikes on a building in Lebanon's capital Beirut on Thursday. Lebanon's Health Ministry said that 22 people died in the attack, while 177 were injured. Israel has not yet issued any statement on the attack.

At present there are about 10,500 peacekeepers from 48 countries in the UN Peace Mission. India also has 900 peacekeepers deployed near the Israel border in southern Lebanon.
