However, criticizing it, Trump said last Thursday, the central government did not do what it should have done, especially in the state of North Carolina. The state, known as the 'rock-bottom' of elections, was badly hit by Hurricane Helen.
But Kamala Harris criticized Trump's comments about post-hurricane government aid. “It's sad that we've seen a lot of people playing political games over the past two weeks, from Hurricane Helen to Milton,” he said at an event in Las Vegas on Thursday, without mentioning Trump by name.
