Bangladesh strongly protested to Myanmar over the killing of Bangladeshi fishermen.
This protest was expressed in a letter sent from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Myanmar Embassy on Friday. The letter also expressed deep concern.
On October 9, Bangladeshi fisherman Usman (60) was killed by Myanmar Navy firing. His home is Konapara of Shahpari Island in Teknaf Upazila of Cox's Bazar.
According to an official statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly protested to the Myanmar government regarding the killing of the Bangladeshi fisherman. Bangladesh has expressed deep concern over this shocking incident in the protest letter of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent to the Myanmar Embassy in Dhaka.
