Today i.e. on October 9, the Sensex opened with a gain of 319 points at the level of 81,954. Nifty also has a gain of 50 points, it is trading at the level of 25,060.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 29 are rising and 1 is declining. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 38 are rising and 12 are declining. All the sectoral indices of NSE are trading rapidly.
Domestic investors bought shares worth ₹7,000.68 crore
- In the Asian market, Japan's Nikkei is up by 0.62%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index is trading down by 3.01% and China's Shanghai Composite is down by 6.58%.
- On October 8, America's Dow Jones rose 0.30% to 42,080 and Nasdaq rose 1.45% to 18,182. The S&P 500 also rose 0.97% to 5,751.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹5,729.60 crore on October 8. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹7,000.68 crore.
