If India reaches the final then it can also be held outside Pakistan.
According to a report by Telegraph UK, India's Champions Trophy 2025 matches can be held outside Pakistan. If the Indian team succeeds in making it to the finals, it will also be thrown out. This decision can be taken due to the ongoing political tension between the two countries. According to reports, the final of Champions Trophy 2025 can be shifted from Lahore to Dubai. The final of the tournament is to be played on March 9. The decision on the venue of this match can be taken by March 6. There remains uncertainty about where the semi-finals will be held. Abu Dhabi and Sharjah are being considered as possible locations.
India has not toured Pakistan since July 2008, a result of strained political relations between the two countries. This ongoing tension has raised the question whether India will be able to participate in the Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi had recently said that the ICC Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan. He also said that all the teams, including India, will participate in the tournament. “The Indian team should come. I don't think they will cancel or postpone coming here. We are confident that we will host all the teams in the Champions Trophy in Pakistan. The stadiums will also be ready to host the matches on time and the remaining work will be completed after the tournament.”
