These days, potatoes are being sold in the market at Rs 30 to 40 per kg, capsicum at Rs 160 per kg and cauliflower at Rs 120 per kg.

These days the most expensive tomato is being sold in the market. The price of tomato in wholesale markets has reached Rs 100 per kg. Talking about apple, it is being sold in the market at Rs 50 to 70 per kg. The price of tomato is continuously touching high in Ghazipur, Okhla, Azadpur mandi of Delhi. Due to less supply of tomato, its prices are continuously increasing. Vendors in the market told the media that at present the supply of tomatoes is decreasing significantly. The demand for tomatoes has become very high during the festival season. Due to this the price of tomatoes has increased. At the same time, one has to wait for about 15 to 20 days for the tomato consignment.
