France-Israel conflict over Lebanon
Differences between France and Israel have increased over the war in Lebanon. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said that even if France does not support us, we can win this war. President Macron should be ashamed of his words. In fact, French President Emmanuel Macron had said on October 5 that Israel should be banned from sending weapons to fight in Gaza. After this the problem should be solved.
After Netanyahu's statement, Macron's office has given clarification. He said that France is a staunch friend of Israel. If Iran or its proxies attack, France will always stand with Israel.
French President Macron has demanded to stop arms supply to Israel. Netanyahu has already appealed for ceasefire.
