The Bangladesh team was to offer Friday prayers at Moti Masjid in Phool Bagh, but due to security reasons, the prayers were offered in the hotel itself. Shahar Qazi offered namaz to 12 players of Bangladesh team. However, the city Qazi said that he has prayed for the victory of the Indian team. Whereas Hindu Mahasabha said that it was their fear due to which Bangladeshis could not offer namaz in Moti Masjid.
The police administration is very alert regarding the security of the Bangladesh team that has come to Gwalior to play the first match of the T-20 series. On Friday, Bangladesh team had to offer Friday prayers. The Bangladesh team had to offer Namaz at the historic Moti Masjid located in Phool Bagh, Gwalior at 1.30 pm. Heavy security arrangements were made but the team was made to offer Namaz inside the hotel itself. As a precaution, the administration requested the city Qazi and made arrangements for offering Namaz in the hotel.

Due to security arrangements, the intelligence team was present in the hotel. Therefore, photos and videos were completely banned during Namaz. Shahar Qazi, who offered Namaz, said that on the request of the administration, he had offered Nama to the Bangladesh team, but he prayed for the victory of Team India.

On the other hand, Hindu Mahasabha has claimed that it is our fear, due to which Bangladeshis could not offer namaz in the mosque. Hindu Mahasabha says that after the change of power in Bangladesh, there are reports of atrocities on Hindus living there and damage to Hindu temples. There is anger among the people in India. Hindu organizations are also angry in Gwalior, hence Hindu organizations are opposing the match. National Vice President of Hindu Mahasabha Jaiveer Bhardwaj claimed that on October 6, he will keep the Lashkar area of Gwalior closed and will oppose this match at every level.
